About Chuck
Since retiring from the bench, Chuck Malone has focused his practice on mediation, arbitration, private judging, and litigation. Chuck has over 15 years’ experience on the bench, both as Circuit Judge and as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. He now utilizes that experience as a mediator, arbitrator, and litigator.
Chuck was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, graduated from Tuscaloosa High School (now Central High School), and attended the University of Alabama where he obtained his B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration. He received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he was a member of the very first National Trial Competition team to win a national championship.
